At Graphic Communication Pty. Ltd. (t/a ShadowCatcher, Hisco Photography & First Day Enterprises) hereafter referred to as Graphic Communication Pty. Ltd., we aspire to excellence, online and off. This page explains how we respect your privacy.
We are committed to respecting your privacy on a 'best practice' basis. That means we handle information about clients and visitors to this site in line with the EU Data Protection Directive, which provides consumers with more comprehensive privacy protection than Australian federal and state/territory law. We fully comply with Australian privacy legislation. We do not collect information about users of this website for provision to a business (other than our own client list), nor to an academic institution.
We do not sell or otherwise supply profiling data or mailing lists to other bodies. And of course we don't spam.
Network information.
Like other site operators, information that identifies the network identity of any device accessing any page of the site may be retained and used for network analysis, usage analysis, and research so that we can improve our services. We reserve the right to gather more extensive information regarding any attempted access that raises security issues, or where there is reason to believe a breach of the law is being or has been committed, with disclosure as appropriate to the relevant authorities.
Apart from those security/law enforcement exceptions, we do not disclose or publish without consent information that identifies individual machines or may potentially identify sub-groupings of addresses. Access to and use of that information is restricted to Graphic Communication Pty. Ltd. personnel and its contractors. The latter are subject to an agreement to adhere to this policy.
Data storage and disposal.
If you provide information to us, it will be protected. Our data storage and disposal arrangements meet Australian best practice standards.
